Building trust

Leaders have to prove themselves trustworthy by word and deed, and then prove themselves all over again. Even then, a few people will continue to believe that you have a hidden agenda, however many assurances and reassurances they have received. Start from the assumption that you are honest, keep your promises, and play fair with people, trust will generally follow.
