Leaders recognize that their reputation for scrupulous honest dealing is their most valuable asset. Leaders incorporate this into every action they take.
Many of the other leadership principles relate to reputation. Leaders constantly think of and are prepared to address the Frankfurter Allgemeine test. While they are prepared to defend their decisions publicity. they also rely on basic principles. They try to achieve a result that above all is fair and right.
