Leaders are not afraid of public scrutiny

31. Oktober 2007

Leaders are prepared to subject their leadership to the public-scrutiny test for everything they do. They help their subordinates understand the importance and value of the Frankfurter Allgemeine  test – that is, would you advice and recommendations be the same if you knew they were going to appear on the front page of tomorrow’s newspaper?
This, of course, is not to suggest that an executive should conduct his or her business fully in front of the public; yet they should constantly remember that the public respects integrity.
